Our pitch to Amazon:
ClassroomGiving.org is a registry of 1,900 classrooms in 49 states, in need of school supplies. All classrooms are fully-vetted and using The Amazon Wishlist Link. Teachers are calling on Amazon to integrate ClassroomGiving.org into their platform, so we can reach millions. Since we launched (2019), many thousands of teachers in The U.S. have replaced crowdfunding with The Amazon Wishlist Link. That simple, powerful tool, is now used by teachers, on social media, as the primary way to receive classroom-supplies from the public. Instead of being tied-down to the crowdfunding format of deadlines and budgets, teachers are now free to post their Amazon Wishlist Link online, in order to connect with potential donors and givers everywhere. Amazon can integrate ClassroomGiving.org into its platform, in such a way where, an Amazon customer, who's home address is near a (listed and vetted) classroom in need, would receive an alert, after placing his/her order, informing them of an item, on that classroom's wishlist, which, the students need. Additionally, we can use this initiative to encourage teachers to replace, the not-so-healthy snacks (on their Wishlists) with those sold on Whole-Foods, which Amazon owns.
In the future, this initiative could go international with WorldClassroomGiving.org to supply classrooms abroad.
ClassroomGiving.org is looking forward to partnering with Amazon and help classrooms together.
Let us bring the need of classrooms to the attention of millions of Amazon customers. Thank you!
